I am a Surface Pattern & Textile Designer, as well as an Illustrator with a decade of experience in the Fashion Industry.

I graduated from the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture, from Karachi, Pakistan with a Bachelor’s of Textile Design Majoring in Print Design, in 2010.

I launched my career the same year with my own womenswear label, that focused on the revival of age old dying crafts of Pakistan. Along with my two partners, we re-introduced those crafts to main stream commercial and high fashion world, by collaborating with the artisan teams and working on the upcoming trends, design philosophies, quality check and finishing details.

In 2016, after completing Professional development courses from Savannah College of Art and Design, USA, I joined Nida Azwer Atelier, a high-fashion studio in Karachi, Pakistan that echoed similar design philosophy. I headed and mentored the design department and closely worked with manufacturers, suppliers along with conceptualizing and executing fashion collections for local and International Fashion Weeks.

I am currently based in Montreal, Canada working as a Textile Graphic Designer at Suzy Shier.
